A wonderful morning was celebrated today as Year 13 students finally found out what grades they were awarded after the past two challenging years of their
A ‘level and BTEC courses. I share with you below the headline figures and highlights. Sincere thanks to all students, parents, staff, and governors, the journey was truly a collective one for which we are all extremely grateful.
The class of 2021 overcame exceptional barriers and challenges showing resilience and courage as they completed their A Levels and BTEC courses through a blend of remote and physical teaching.
Subject teachers awarded grades to students as the CV19 pandemic gave rise to the cancellation of public examinations. Despite the many challenges faced, our students achieved outstanding grades as a result of their hard work and we warmly congratulate every one of them.
Congratulations to Year 13 students for their A Level and BTEC results.
The headline figures are as follows:
- 17 % of all entries were A* grades.
- 48.8 % of all entries were A* - A grades.
- 78.8 % of all entries were A* - B grades.
- 96.5 % of all entries were A*- C grades.
- 100 % pass rate in all A Level and BTEC subjects.

Notable Achievements at BTEC National Diploma
100% of students achieved Distinction Star to Merit grades in all BTEC courses
- Hannah Gonzalez achieved two grades at Distinction Star in both her BTEC subjects
- Ellie Louise Wellman, Nicole Sammut, Anjali Modeste and Morna Kutin- Numah received three Distinction Star/Distinction grades.
The below 14 students achieved at least two grades at Distinction/Distinction star in their BTEC subjects

Any student wishing to apply to University for 2022 entry will need to apply during the Autumn term and should contact the Sixth Form Team in September 2021.
