Open Evening
The Open Evening for Transfer to Secondary School 2026 is on Tuesday 1st July 2025 from 3.30pm – 7.30pm. Booking is not required for this event.
Applying for a place at St Philomena’s Catholic High School for Girls starting in Year 7 in September 2026. Please refer to the Admissions Policy 2026
Catholic Candidates: Complete the four steps below to apply:
- Catholic applicants should complete either the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD) or print out and complete the paper version of the Admissions Administration Document 2026. Please do not complete both. The paper version should be submitted to the School.*
- Catholic applicants (practising) should also print out and complete the Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP). The CCP should be submitted to the School.* NB: There is NO facility to upload documentation to the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD). Those completing the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD) still need to submit a CCP to the School. If an original CCP cannot be provided, a copy should be submitted. The original CCP may need to be brought to the school for verification.
- Catholic applicants should supply a copy of the Candidate’s Baptism certificate to the School if this sacrament has been received.* NB: There is NO facility to upload documentation to the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD). Those completing the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD) still need to provide a copy of the Baptism certificate to the school.
- Catholic applicants must complete a Local Authority eAdmissions or paper Application Form and submit this to their home Local Authority. This form will be located on the website of the Candidate’s home Local Authority from 1st September 2025.
Candidates enrolled in the catechumenate:
Where the Candidate is soon to be baptised into the Catholic faith / received into the Catholic Church, evidence of enrolment in the catechumenate is required. Please request this evidence from your Catholic parish and submit this to the school.*
Candidates of Faiths other than Catholic: Complete relevant steps below to apply:
- Completion of the Online Admissions Administration Document (AAD) or paper version of the Admissions Administration Document 2026 is optional for applicants of faiths other than Catholic. The AAD can be used to supply any additional information and is useful to the school for administration purposes. If you choose to complete this form, please either complete online or on paper - do not complete both. The paper version should be submitted to the School.*
- (a) Families of faiths other than Catholic should provide evidence of the Candidate’s faith. Please print out and complete the Religious Leader Form 2026 or provide some other evidence of faith (eg letter from your place of worship, certificate of dedication) and submit this to the school so that the application can be considered under the Faith Criteria of the Admissions Policy.* (b) In addition to 2(a) above, Eastern Orthodox faith applicants should also supply a copy of the Candidate’s Baptism certificate to the school if this sacrament has been received.*
- Families of faiths other than Catholic must complete a Local Authority eAdmissions or paper Application Form and submit this to their home Local Authority. This form will be located on the website of the Candidate’s home Local Authority from 1st September 2025.
Other Candidates: Complete the step below to apply:
- Families who do not wish for the Candidate to be considered under the Faith Criteria of the Admissions Policy do not need to submit an Admissions Administration Document (AAD) and do not need to supply faith evidence. In this case, please include St Philomena’s School as one of the Candidate’s preference schools on the Local Authority eAdmissions or paper Application Form for the Candidate’s home Local Authority. This form will be located on the website of the Candidate’s home Local Authority from 1st September 2025.
