Applying for a place at St Philomena’s Catholic High School for Girls starting in Year 7 in September 2025. Please refer to the Admissions Policy 2025
Catholic Candidates: Complete the four steps below to apply:
- Catholic applicants should print out and complete the paper version of the Admissions Administration Document 2025. The AAD should be submitted to the School.*
- Catholic applicants (practising) should submit a Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP). Please note: the CCP form is only available from the Priest at the Catholic parish attended by the Candidate. Please request a CCP from your parish. Where possible, the original CCP should then be posted/delivered to the School. If the applicant is only given one original by their priest, a copy should be submitted to the school and the original should be retained by the applicant.*
- Catholic applicants should supply a copy of the Candidate’s Baptism certificate to the School if this sacrament has been received.*
Candidates enrolled in the catechumenate:
Where the Candidate is soon to be baptised into the Catholic faith / received into the Catholic Church, evidence of enrolment in the catechumenate is required. Please request this evidence from your Catholic parish and submit this to the school.*
Candidates of Faiths other than Catholic: Complete relevant steps below to apply:
- Completion of the Admissions Administration Document 2025 is optional for applicants of faiths other than Catholic. The AAD can be used to supply any additional information and is useful to the school for administration purposes. If you choose to complete this form, please submit to the School.*
- (a) Families of faiths other than Catholic should provide evidence of the Candidate’s faith. Please print out and complete the Religious Leader Form 2025 or provide some other evidence of faith (eg letter from your place of worship, certificate of dedication) and submit this to the school so that the application can be considered under the Faith Criteria of the Admissions Policy.* (b) In addition to 2(a) above, Eastern Orthodox faith applicants should also supply a copy of the Candidate’s Baptism certificate to the school if this sacrament has been received.*
- Families of faiths other than Catholic must complete a Local Authority eAdmissions or paper Application Form and submit this to their home Local Authority. This form will be located on the website of the Candidate’s home Local Authority from 1st September 2024.
Other Candidates: Complete the step below to apply:
- Families who do not wish for the Candidate to be considered under the Faith Criteria of the Admissions Policy do not need to submit an Admissions Administration Document (AAD) and do not need to supply faith references. In this case, please include St Philomena’s School as one of the Candidate’s preference schools on the Local Authority eAdmissions or paper Application Form for the Candidate’s home Local Authority. This form will be located on the website of the Candidate’s home Local Authority from 1st September 2024.
