Southern Gas Network (SGN) Changes

We have been advised and asked by Southern Gas Network (SGN) to share details of upcoming gas network upgrades in the local area to the school.

Please see below for further information.

Who are we?

At SGN, we replace and repair the gas pipes in your area. This means we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to your community.

What are we doing?

SGN has appointed contractor JDT to replace ageing metal gas mains with new polyethylene (plastic) pipes on our behalf. This is part of a wider upgrade to replace old cast iron infrastructure with safer, longer-lasting materials that are less prone to leaks and disruption.
