The school would like to clarify that St Philomena's School is not closing on 31st March, as incorrectly stated on the gov.uk website (please refer to the image below, where the incorrect information is highlighted in red). As you are aware, St Philomena's School is preparing to transition to join the family of Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust. It is expected that all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Southwark will embark on this journey in the very near future. The school remains open as usual and will continue to operate throughout this transition. The gov.uk website will continue to be updated, to correctly reflect the date the school is working towards conversion and further information will be communicated by the school once the academy conversion process has been completed.
