Small Change, Big Difference
An Autism Parenting Programme
(over 4 weeks)
 
with Adapt to Learn
 
 
Have you recently had a child diagnosed with Autism but not received any support?  Do you need more support on what Autism actually is and how it impacts your child?  Did you know that there are different strategies that you can use to help you and your child?  Would you like to meet other families who are also in the same position as you?  
 
Adapt to Learn and NAS Sutton Branch are now able to offer
Small Change, Big Difference’, a series of Workshops for parents of children with a diagnosis of autism.  These workshops are also suitable for carers, grandparents or anyone who spends a lot of time with your child.
 
Over a four week course, we will explore, share and discuss practical strategies to help develop communication skills, pre-empt and manage behaviour and gain confidence and resilience.
 
During our interactive sessions, you will also be given the opportunity to make connections and friendships with each other, gain support and feel less isolated.
 
The course comprises of four x 2-hour sessions and will cover a range of topics.
 
IMPORTANT:  This is a 4 week course, and you must sign up to and be able to attend all four sessions.
 
The sessions will be held at Carshalton Beeches Baptist Free Church, Banstead Road, Carshalton SM5 3NL.

Session 1 17th October 6.30pm-8.30pm
HALF TERM
Session 2 31st October 6.30pm-8.30pm
Session 3 7th November 6.30pm-8.30pm
Session 4 14th November 6.30pm-8.30pm
 
£20 per person which covers all 4 sessions
