Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL) Chromebook Scheme Update

Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL) Chromebook Scheme.

Unfortunately we have been notified that due to US sanctions being placed on some component manufacturers there will be a delay in receiving the order which was planned to coincide with the start of the new academic year. Our order is part of the largest order in the UK and is therefore being prioritised for delivery. We currently do not have a definitive date for delivery however, we will keep you informed of any updates.

If you were planning to use a privately purchased Chromebook, we require no action at this time and ask that your daughter does not bring her Chromebook to school until this is communicated to you.

If your daughter is joining St Philomenas in Year 7, there will still be Google Education training for her to ensure she has an understanding of Google Classroom should we need to go to blended learning at some point in the future.

If you have not previously placed an order, the portal for ordering will be open from 21st August until the 10th September. Further details of which can be found below.
